About White Mountain BrainCore

Your Brain is a Supercomputer

Your brain is like a supercomputer. When it find something that works, it does its best to automate that function to use less energy.  The problem is that sometimes our automated functions are less than optimal and our mental muscles lack the strength we need to live an enjoyable, well-functioning life.  If you’re experiencing high levels of fear when you’re not in an emergency, your brain is misinterpreting the situation and producing the same results as if you were in life-threatening danger. This involves parts of the brain that don’t communicate with your conscious mind – it’s designed only for survival.

Neurofeedback therapy gives you the power to rewire your brain to respond appropriately when you are not in danger and reprogram your automated functions.

Who is... White Mountain BrainCore

I was taking postgraduate courses on brain trauma and kept running across information about Neurofeedback used in the treatment of brain injuries. My curiosity was aroused so I dove into more research and became extremly impressed with the variety of conditions responding to this type of treatment. In my research, I realized that the BrainCore system is the premiere method of Neurofeedback therapy. As a retired Doctor of Chiropractic with over 40 years of experience , I saw this as an avenue to help people in ways I was never able to before. So I pursued the training and certification in the BrainCore System.

I look forward to helping those looking for a safe and effective solution to their health issues..    -   John C. Hayes, D.C.

Having taught junior high and high school for over 18 years, I realized that I needed to find a way to assist individuals facing challenges that prevent them from reaching their full potential. A mutual friend introduced me to Dr. Hayes, who asked if I would like to become a Brain Core technician. I spent that summer learning how BrainCore works and how to be a technician. Through my experience with patients, I have come to understand how debilitating anxiety, PTSD, and traumatic brain injury can be. We can even help athletes enhance their performance. When patients arrive, I assist them during the therapy session, which usually lasts between 30 to 45 minutes. They don’t need to relive or discuss what may have caused their issues.

I look forward to meeting you and hope you find this to be the relief you have been searching for.
